CORY PERRY

This is a soft device that can heal the body with rest and transport the mind via deep meditation and quartz crystal vibration. The crystals were mined by me from a local mining area in Mount Ida, Arkansas. On a soft square object, I aligned the crystals to a pattern of overlapping circles known as the seed of life, and stitched hand-rolled ceramic beads (created by me) into the pattern. The crystals and beads were placed at the intersections of the circles. The opposite side features words of love and protection typed onto the surface. 

This artwork is intended to be experienced laying down in a comforting environment, while having a physical connection to the earth-ground. The individual should rest their head on the center of the soft device and repeat a mantra of affirmation. The individual should experience a give/receive type of session—the amount of meditation they put into the experience, the better experience they will receive in return.
