My work is a continuous creative process which invokes healing and ancestral remembrance. I study the stories contained within my own lineage as well as shared practices and beliefs across the diaspora. Creating in alignment with my developing spiritual practice has allowed me to build deeper connections with those who came before me as well honoring the ways in which they worked.  

Clay has become the primary chosen medium for each vessel depending on the nature of the story or figures that are being brought forth. I enjoy not only learning to understand clay for its physical uses, but also its ability to teach, heal, retain and contain. By working intently with this medium, and the design process, the birthing of a vessel becomes its own experience.
